Get a taste of Army life at university
How would you like to learn vital life skills, face exciting challenges and make loads of new friends - while being paid for the privilege? The University Officer Training Corps (UOTC), allows you to experience the buzz of military life at the same time as you study for a degree, providing, in one place something you would have to join four or five different clubs to find elsewhere.

UOTC training instills the leadership and teamwork skills that employers are crying out for. Training exercises involve anything from driving Land Rovers to building bridges.
What's more, UOTCs have thriving sports teams and opportunities to try adventurous activities like sailing, parachuting, scuba diving and skiing.

While many members of the UOTC do go on to join the Regular or Territorial Army, there is no requirement to do so. There are 19 UOTCs all over the UK. To find out more, just contact the UOTC nearest your university.
