Want to get paid while you learn?
The British Army is offering Further Education Bursaries (Further Education Awards in Scotland) for all full vocational courses at Level 2 and Level 3 at a considerable number of FE colleges.
What is a Further Education Bursary?
If you are interested in joining the Army, and studying (or intending to study) in FE, you could be eligible to earn up to £5000 cash award to help you through your studies; £1000 for each year you spend at college (maximum 4 years) and £1000 on completion of the first stage of Army training. You will then get to start your Army career, building your future.
Whilst at college, as well as the support provided by your tutor, you will have a dedicated Army contact to offer you advice and encouragement whenever you need it. The Army will also offer you the chance to gain some valuable work experience, in order to ensure that you get the best opportunities for preparation and development.
To find out more simply speak to an Army Careers Adviser. You can find your nearest Careers Office by searching In your Area or calling 08457 300 111.
Or, you can enrol for your course at a college and then inform your tutor that you wish to apply for an Army FE Bursary/Award. You will then be contacted by an Army Careers Advisor.
