About us
The Band of the Royal Yeomanry is a military band with a long history and a reputation of the highest level.

Like all Units of The Royal Yeomanry, we are part-time Territorial Army soldiers. That means you’ll complete basic military training to become a fighting soldier, as well as annual military tests including: shooting, map-reading and first aid. But, of course, as a member of a military band, music rehearsal and performance will be your main occupation.

With us, you’ll perform at concerts and ceremonial events all over the world, often taking part in high-profile parades alongside full-time military bands. And sometimes joined by our fellow Units of the Royal Yeomanry, marching alongside us.

If you have relevant experience or musical skills, whether civilian or military, please get in touch – and come along and see what being part of a TA band is all about.

Directions:
By the junction of Worship St and Clifton St – in between Liverpool Street, Old Street and Moorgate underground stations (Moorgate is closest). From Old Street, walk south down City Road – or from Moorgate walk north up City Road – until you come to the turning onto Worship St. Walk east halfway along Worship St until you get to the junction with Clifton St. You’ll see the TA Centre, and should be standing under a sign for ‘SABRE’. Our entrance is 10 yards further up Clifton St.
