Bangor
A lot of people feel nervous about stepping foot into our office, but we’re all very friendly and we’ll soon put you at ease.
We’re always ready to tell you about the times we’ve had in the Army. Ongoing challenges and achievements, adventure training in faraway places, the changing jobs – it’s a lifestyle we could never have hoped for as civilians.
All this, and career qualifications recognised outside the Army. So why not come and see us for a chat? You'll come out with a much better idea of what the Army is really like.
When you get here
We’ll be in uniform, but you can come in your work kit or jeans – whatever you like. We’re just interested in what makes you tick, so one of us will sit down with you and talk about your interests, as well as the wide variety of Army jobs out there – such as chefs, tank crew, nurses, mechanics, electricians and so on. There are loads of opportunities – so this first get together is all about helping you get a feel for Army life and where you could fit in.
Ask us anything
People usually want to know about the training, career opportunities, travel prospects and, of course, the pay. We’ll answer any questions you have.
What happens next?
The first thing is to go away and think about it. You can always pop back in for another chat. If and when you want to take things further, we’ll first weigh and measure you to check your Body Mass Index (BMI). Then arrange a formal interview for you and give you an Army Contact form, an Army DVD and your application pack to take away. We can also arrange your British Army Recruitment Battery (BARB) test.
