Haverfordwest
If you’re thinking about joining the Army, come in for a chat.
You’re likely to meet a soldier from a similar sort of background as yourself. We all have very interesting stories to tell you about the challenges we’ve overcome, the adventurous training we often go on, and how we’ve attained recognised qualifications and risen through the ranks.
It’s a career that offers something totally different from the civilian sector. If you like the sound of that – come along and see us.
When you get here
You’ll find us in uniform, of course, but we don’t mind what you wear. Work overalls or day-to-day clothes, we’re more concerned with getting to know a bit about what makes you tick. It’s very informal and informative. We’ll tell you about different sorts of jobs we recruit for – everything from chefs to tank crewmen, to nurses, vehicle mechanics, electricians and so on – and help you decide if the Army is up your street.
Ask us anything
People often ask us about fitness and training, career opportunities, travel prospects and how much they’ll get paid. Whatever your questions, we’ve got the answers. Ask away!
What happens next?
Your first chat with us will give you loads to think about. And you can always come back and see us again. Then, if you want to take things further, we’ll first weigh and measure you to check your Body Mass Index (BMI). Then arrange a formal interview for you and give you an Army Contact form, an Army DVD and your application pack to take away. We can also arrange your British Army Recruitment Battery (BARB) test.
